Joseph Harwood, MD, is a compassionate psychiatrist who cares for adults with a wide range of mental health conditions. He is committed to ensuring his patients feel supported as they work to improve their overall quality of life.

Dr. Harwood earned his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Anderson University and his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed his psychiatry residency in Savannah at Gateway Behavioral Health, where he focused on community and addiction psychiatry.

Dr. Harwood lives in Macon with his wife and young son. He is a member of Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church and enjoys listening to music and spending time with his family.
