Biography

After working over ten years as an electrical engineer, David Kay, MD earned his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in 1998. He completed his residency in obstetrics-gynecology at The Medical Center of Central Georgia (now Atrium Health Navicent) in Macon and was named OB/GYN Teaching Resident of the Year in 2000. A native of Columbus, Dr. Kay has spent his medical career serving rural Georgians. He founded a women’s health center in Donalsonville and has practiced emergency medicine in rural communities across central Georgia.
