Dr. Rafael Ponce-Terashima received a Doctor of Medicine from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru. He completed an internal medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan and a fellowship in infectious diseases at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio where he served as chief fellow. Dr. Ponce-Terashima speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Japanese. He is board-certified in infectious diseases and internal medicine.
